Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

At Anxiety and Behavioral Health Psychotherapy, we provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a type of psychotherapy that aims to improve mental health and well-being by identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. CBT is
based on the idea that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected and can influence each other. By developing more positive and adaptive ways of thinking and behaving, individuals can achieve lasting change.

CBT can be helpful for a wide range of mental health concerns, including:
● Anxiety
● Depression
● Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
● Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
● Sleep disorders
● Relationship problems
● Anger issues
● Low self-esteem
● Stress-related health conditions

Our CBT services are tailored to suit your individual needs and preferences and can be delivered in individual or group therapy settings. Contact us today to learn more about how CBT can help you achieve your mental health and well-being goals.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed by difficult thoughts and feelings, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) might be a helpful option for you. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a type of psychotherapy that aims to improve mental health and
well-being by helping individuals accept and move past difficult thoughts and emotions. Rather than trying to eliminate or avoid negative feelings, ACT teaches individuals to embrace them and develop greater psychological flexibility, allowing them to engage in
behaviors that align with their values and goals.

ACT can be helpful for a wide range of mental health concerns, including:
● Anxiety
● Depression
● PTSD
● Chronic pain
● Eating disorders
● Relationship issues
● Difficulty adjusting to life changes

ACT is often delivered in individual or group therapy sessions, and may include mindfulness practices, experiential exercises, and goal-setting activities. At Anxiety and Behavioral Health Psychotherapy, we offer ACT services tailored to your individual needs and preferences. If you're looking to improve your mental health and well-being, consider exploring ACT as an option to help you move forward and achieve your goals. Contact us today to learn more about how ACT can help you.

Exposure and Response Prevention

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a type of psychotherapy that aims to reduce anxiety by gradually exposing individuals to feared situations or objects. ERP is often used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as it helps individuals to resist
the urge to engage in compulsive behaviors that temporarily relieve anxiety but ultimately reinforce obsessive thoughts and increase distress.

ERP involves developing a hierarchy of feared situations, with exposure gradually increasing in difficulty as individuals gain greater mastery and control over their anxiety. By repeatedly confronting feared situations, individuals can learn that the anxiety and
distress they experience is not as intense or long-lasting as they initially feared. ERP may also involve cognitive restructuring, which helps individuals to challenge and reframe negative thoughts and beliefs that contribute to anxiety.

At Anxiety and Behavioral Health Psychotherapy, we offer ERP services tailored to your individual needs and preferences. Our team can provide guidance and support as you navigate the challenging but rewarding process of confronting your fears and overcoming anxiety. Contact us today to learn more about how ERP can help you
achieve lasting relief from anxiety and improve your quality of life.

Inferential Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Inference-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) is a specialized treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It centers on the idea that obsessions stem from dysfunctional reasoning and abnormal doubts about what "might be" rather than random intrusive thoughts.

I-CBT focuses on resolving these doubts by teaching clients to trust their senses and distinguish between real and imagined concerns. Unlike standard CBT, which addresses the misinterpretation of intrusive thoughts, I-CBT targets the reasoning behind obsessions. This approach helps clients understand that obsessional doubts are irrelevant to the present moment and not based on legitimate reasons.

I-CBT is particularly effective for those who have not benefited from other treatments, offering a promising alternative without the need for prolonged exposure and response prevention (ERP). Instead, it uses cognitive techniques to naturally resolve doubts and fears related to one's identity, reducing the compulsion to act on obsessions.
